Hit the Lights originated in Lima, Ohio and consists of members Nick, Omar, Nate, Kevin, and Dave. Hit The Lights plays pop-punk. Contrary to the popular belief that they got their name from the Metallica song, the band got their name from the 80's skateboarding film, "Gleaming the Cube". After signing to Triple Crown Records in 2005 their debut EP, 'Until We Get Caught,' generated lots of buzz within webzines and websites such as AbsolutePunk and Myspace.
