Kenny Chesney (born Kenneth Arnold Chesney) is an American country music singer-songwriter. Chesney is one of the most popular touring acts in country music, regularly selling out the venues at which he performs. In May 2005 Chesney married actress Renee Zellweger, only to announce in September the marriage annulment.

Along with Nashville producer Buddy Cannon, the Country Music Association's reigning Entertainer of the Year produced Willie Nelson's Moment of Forever album, as well as a bluegrass offering from Tim Hensley, who plays guitar in Chesney's band.
