Torrence Hatch (born November 14, 1983) is an American rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana who raps under the name Lil Boosie. Hatch grew up on W. Garfield St, an area roughly 10 blocks south of downtown Baton Rouge. He attended his neighborhood school McKinley Senior High School until he was expelled and later dropped out. He was signed by Pimp C to Trill Entertainment, and in 2005, him and fellow Baton Rouge rapper Webster Gradney (known as Webbie) were signed to a contract by Universal Records.
