Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. As a solo artist, Williams has released seven #1 albums, a #1 Greatest Hits compilation, achieved album sales of over 55 million worldwide. His eighth studio album, "Reality Killed The Video Star" is set for released in November 2009 after two years away from the music industry.
