ZZ Top is an American blues rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. The band members are Billy Gibbons (vocals and guitar), Dusty Hill (bass guitar and vocals), and Frank Beard (drums). They hold the distinction of being one of the few rock bands still comprised of its original members for nearly 40 years, and until 2006, with the same manager/producer, Bill Ham. They reached the peak of their commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s, scoring many hit songs during that era; but they remain together today and are still touring and releasing albums. |

A veterana banda de rock ZZ Top vem a São Paulo em dezembro. Na data de 10 de dezembro, o conjunto do Texas toca na Via Funchal (região oeste da capital paulista), passa pelo Rio de Janeiro (RJ) no dia seguinte e, em 13 de dezembro, volta a se apresentar na cidade de São Paulo, no Espaço das Américas (região oeste).
Formada desde o início por Billy Gibbons (guitarra e vocal), Dusty Hill (baixo) e Frank Beard (bateria), a banda se destacou principalmente nas décadas de 70 e 80. O trabalho mais recente do grupo é o CD e DVD "Live from Texas" (ST2).
Informações sobre venda de ingressos ainda não foram divulgadas.

La banda que ya tiene casi 40 años de carrera musical, ZZ Top ha confirmado su visita a nuestro país con un concierto que se realizará en el Movistar Arena el día 17 de diciembre de este año. Las entradas pronto se pondrán a la venta, información que nosotros estaremos compartiendo con Uds. a penas tengamos mayor detalles.
Este concierto llegará a Chile justo en medio de la grabación de un nuevo álbum de ZZ Top junto a productor Rick Rubin, por lo que no sería una gran sorpresa que además de presentar su mas grandes éxitos, que se reparten en mas de 20 discos publicados, podamos escuchar nuevas canciones de los barbudos Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill y Frank Beard.
